Branding A Fantasy Trading Card Game
Researching relevant card games, video games, fantasy novels and using that information to inspire how War Portal could look/feel was an important first step. This helped establish a base-tone before initial sketches to ensure an epic and magical branding experience.
The final logo design for War Portal is a fantastic, golden word-mark containing an emblem with the same golden 3D treatment. The War Portal emblem was created to also stand-alone as a branding element for square/circular display areas.
